I Am Legend - Light Up the Darkness

Steven Reyes & Sean Anderson

On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are trying not to get eaten by zombie vampire creatures while also dealing with a post-apocalyptic world. This time, we’re talking about the Francis Lawrence film from 2007, I Am Legend.

It may seem callous to say, but I hope that no animals will be able to survive a real apocalypse like the one shown in this film. It would be sad, for sure. However, I sure as hell don’t want to do what Robert Neville had to do to his poor dog.

That may have been one of the most heartbreaking things ever.

The rest of the film, though? Pretty dang clever and exciting. As far as ends of the world go, this one didn’t seem particularly bad. All you’ve got to do is keep to a schedule and cover your tracks at all times. Seems like a person could make that work.

I won’t ever say I could, but Neville certainly did. Then again, I’m no world famous scientist, so what do I know?
