On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are on a desperate mission to save the relationship we accidentally screwed up. We’re talking about the 1998 film from Jason Bloom, Overnight Delivery.

What we really need to talk about with this film is how amazing Ivy’s purple Jeep was. I’m not usually one to go for a car like that—I prefer mine without a leaky roof—but that little putt-putt machine was amazing. In all seriousness, where can we get one of those?

While we’re at it, we should pour one out for that dearly departed vehicle. At least it went out in a memorable way. Nobody’s going to forget that eye-catching car.

And the person driving it was just as amazing. Now that I’m writing these words, I can’t help but wonder what the hell was wrong with Trips from the very beginning. I get that young love can be a deceptive emotion, but this is Ivy we’re talking about.

I’m betting that she would never cheat on anybody, and certainly not with someone called “The Ricker.” Ugh. Trips should have cut his losses and just made sweet, college-aged love with her. What a dingus.
