Evil Dead/Evil Dead Rise: Come Get Some!

Steven Reyes & Sean Anderson Episode 216

Send us a text

On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are trying to stay alive and avoid all bodily fluids. We watched the remake of Evil Dead and its sequel, Evil Dead Rise.

We’re kicking off a whole month of spooky films a pair of the goriest, bloodiest, most grotesque creations ever made. Seriously, Evil Dead probably set records for how much fake blood was used during its production.

More important than record-setting is this most dire of warnings: if you come across a creepy-looking book, either beneath a ceiling full of cat corpses or entombed beneath a building, don’t open the freaking book.

And definitely don’t read from the book. That’s a rookie mistake.

These two films should be a lesson to us all. Maybe some things are meant to stay buried for good…
