On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are just trying to celebrate the new millennium in peace! We watched the 2024 film from Kyle Mooney, Y2K.

Remember those halcyon days when our pants were baggy and saggy, our Tamagotchis controlled our lives, and the world was on the brink of destruction because of a computer coding oversight?

Pepperidge Farm remembers. The year 2000 was a wild one. If you weren’t alive back then, like most of the cast of this film, then take our word for it—all of this actually happened. If you were alive, then shhhh… keep it a secret!

To kick off this new year—25 freaking years after the subject of this film—we’re making Y2K our B-movie of the month. Will it be brilliant, a flunder, or the dreaded blunder?
